How much does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 261 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for used-car shoppers. Owners consistently praise the sporty performance, precise handling, and elegant interior, while the overview frames it as a luxury sedan that blends bold styling with a strong feature set. That makes it a good fit if you want a performance-oriented luxury sedan with a distinctive design and plenty of tech. 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner summary also points to a great-value luxury car that feels sporty, offers a range of features, and delivers the kind of performance and interior quality buyers tend to count on. The expert summary reinforces that dependable impression by describing it as an extremely competent luxury sedan with the looks, tech, and performance to excite. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that repair costs may be high.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

At 43.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection matters here, especially if you are comparing cars with similar prices but different condition histories. Focus on signs of uneven wear, repair quality, and whether the car’s tech and safety systems operate as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base 2014 Infiniti Q50 includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera, while the Q50 Premium adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo. The Q50S adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other go-fast bits, so the best value depends on whether you want comfort features or a more athletic setup.
• Powertrain: The 3.7-liter VQ-V6 makes 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, and it is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The setup is described as strong and quick, with available all-wheel drive and fuel-saving drive modes.
• Safety package: The Q50 includes a predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. Base-trim equipment is already substantial, but the safety content emphasizes that the car’s tech-heavy approach is a major part of its appeal.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses dual touchscreens, with the top screen focused on navigation and the lower screen handling audio and climate controls. The navigation screen has its own dedicated control knob, but the system is described as having some hiccups and boot-up delays.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD Q50 was listed at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Q50 Premium, Q50S, and Q50S AWD.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the value play if you want the Q50’s core luxury and tech features without stretching the budget. You still get Bluetooth, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera, which makes it the best-value starting point for many shoppers.
• Q50 Premium: Choose this if you want a more comfortable daily driver. The heated front seats, power moonroof, and 14-speaker premium stereo make it the better pick if you care more about convenience and cabin upgrades than sportier hardware.
• Q50S: This is the right choice if you want the sportier personality. The sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, and sport brakes give it a more performance-focused character than the lower trims.
• Q50S AWD: Pick this if you want the Q50S formula with all-weather traction. It keeps the sport-oriented equipment while adding AWD capability.

The safety content highlights the Q50’s predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, rear cross-path warning, and parking camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 261 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 43.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,207, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $11,509 sits slightly above last year's $11,444.

That small increase suggests the Q50 has held value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to a market that is still willing to pay around current levels. If the car remains in good condition and has a clean history, you should have a reasonable shot at attracting buyers without needing to discount heavily.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety package includes a predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, rear cross-path warning, and an overhead parking camera system. That combination gives the Q50 a strong safety-tech profile, especially for shoppers who want active driver assistance in a luxury sedan.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 43.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 introduces Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and tech direction in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $12,669, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,509 average.
• It offers a wider range of personalities, from comfortable all-weather driving to a more fuel-efficient or sportier setup.

The bottom line: If you want the lower entry price and the fresh-for-2014 character, the 2014 is the smarter buy. If you are willing to spend more for broader configuration flexibility, the 2015 is worth a look, especially if you want a different balance of comfort, efficiency, or performance.

How does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 compare to the 2014 BMW 3 Series?

Our experts score the 2014 INFINITI Q50 8.5/10 and the 2014 BMW 3 Series 7.3/10.

The Q50 brings more power, more standard tech, and a stronger safety-tech story, while the 3 Series counters with better fuel economy and a lower average used price. The BMW also has more listings and a higher accident-free share, which may make it easier to shop if you want more inventory and cleaner history. If you want the more expressive luxury sedan with stronger performance, the Q50 is the better fit; if efficiency and broader market choice matter more, the 3 Series has the edge.
