How much does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 1.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 272 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of options to compare.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its sporty performance, precise handling, and elegant interior, and the overview frames it as a luxury sedan that blends bold styling with a strong feature set. That makes it a good fit if you want a performance-leaning luxury sedan with a distinctive design and plenty of tech.

27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a great-value luxury car with sporty performance, a range of features, and an elegant interior, while also emphasizing that many drivers appreciate its powerful engine and precise handling. The expert write-up reinforces that dependable, confidence-inspiring character by describing it as an extremely competent luxury sedan with the looks, the tech, and the performance to excite.

The main used-car risk is that repair costs may be high, so you should budget carefully and verify maintenance history before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

At 43.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you get too far into the process, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any car that looks promising. Focus on condition, repair quality, and whether the car’s technology and comfort features still work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base 2014 Infiniti Q50 includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera. The Premium trim adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo, while the S trims add a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other go-fast bits.
• Powertrain: The 3.7-liter VQ-V6 makes 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, and the car uses a 7-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. The performance write-up also notes a 0-60 time of 5.3 seconds.
• Safety package: The car includes a crash-predicting radar system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses dual touchscreens, with the top screen dedicated mostly to navigation and the lower screen handling audio and climate controls. The navigation screen also has its own dedicated control knob.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD Q50 was listed at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base 2014 Infiniti Q50, Q50 Premium, Q50S, and Q50S AWD.

Here's the short version:

• Base 2014 Infiniti Q50: This is the entry point, and it already gives you Bluetooth, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Q50’s styling and tech.
• Q50 Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want the most noticeable comfort upgrade, because it adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo.
• Q50S: Choose this if you want the sportier setup, since it adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other performance-focused hardware.
• Q50S AWD: Pick this if you want the sport trim’s equipment with all-wheel drive.

The safety content highlights advanced crash-avoidance tech, including blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, the overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with some room to shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 272 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 43.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,215, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $11,416 sits slightly below last year's $11,577.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can work against sellers who are hoping for a quick premium. If you plan to sell later, you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance records rather than on broad market momentum.

Because prices have softened, a clean, well-kept example may stand out more than average. Strong presentation and documented service history should matter more if you want to protect your resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety suite includes a crash-predicting radar system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. That gives you a broad set of driver-assistance features for the model year.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 43.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 brings Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and technology direction together in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $12,768, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,416 average.
• It offers a wider range of personalities, from comfortable all-weather performance to a fast sports-sedan setup.

The bottom line: If you want the lower-priced, more distinctive entry point, the 2014 is the better value play. If you’re willing to spend more for broader configuration flexibility, the 2015 is worth a look.

How does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 compare to the 2014 BMW 3 Series?

Our experts score the 2014 INFINITI Q50 8.5/10 and the 2014 BMW 3 Series 7.3/10. The Q50 brings more power, more standard tech, and a stronger feature-rich luxury feel, while the 3 Series counters with better fuel economy and a lower average used price. If you want the more expressive and better-equipped sedan, the Q50 is the stronger pick; if you want a cheaper entry point with broader inventory, the BMW has the edge.
