How much does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 1.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 280 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and condition.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.78/5 user rating, and our experts give it an 8.5/10 overall rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its sporty performance, precise handling, and elegant interior design, along with its value as a luxury car. That lines up with the overview’s focus on a bold, tech-forward luxury sedan that aims to feel distinctive and upscale. 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive example.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels like a great-value luxury sedan with sporty performance, precise handling, and an elegant interior. The expert review also emphasizes the Q50’s competent, well-rounded character and its ability to deliver performance and technology in a natural, usable way.

The Q50’s strong feature content and owner satisfaction are encouraging, but used buyers should still watch for maintenance and repair costs as ownership ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

At 47.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings at similar prices. Pay close attention to bodywork, interior wear, and how well the technology and driver-assistance features operate. Because this model can carry higher repair costs, condition matters more than mileage alone.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base 2014 Infiniti Q50 comes with Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera. The Q50 Premium adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo, while the Q50S adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other go-fast bits.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a 3.7-liter VQ-V6 with 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. The setup is quick and efficient enough for a luxury sedan, with the AWD version listed at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined.
• Safety package: The Q50 includes a predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. Base-trim shoppers should make sure the safety tech they want is included on the specific car they’re considering.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses dual touchscreens, with the top screen focused on navigation and the lower screen handling audio and climate controls. It also includes a dedicated navigation control knob, though the system can be slow to boot and has been known to glitch.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD Q50 is listed at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined, and the review notes that Eco mode can help maximize mileage.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Premium, Q50S, and Q50S AWD.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, and it already gives you Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the extra comfort and audio upgrades.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo without jumping all the way to the sport-focused models.
• Q50S: Choose this if you want the sportier setup, since it adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other go-fast bits.
• Q50S AWD: This is the sport trim with all-wheel drive, so it suits you if you want the Q50S character plus added traction.

The safety content highlights a strong driver-assistance suite, so make sure the specific trim and listing you’re considering includes the features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 280 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,215, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $11,729 sits slightly below last year's $11,895.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future resale, condition and documentation matter even more when the market is already drifting lower. Well-kept examples with clean history should hold up better than rougher cars with accident records or deferred maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q50’s safety tech includes a predictive crash-warning system that can detect trouble ahead, plus blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. That gives you a broad driver-assistance package for the class, especially if you value active safety features.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 introduces Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and tech direction in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $12,680, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,729 average.
• It offers a wider range of personalities, from comfortable all-weather cruiser to fast sports sedan.

The bottom line: If you want the lower-priced entry into the Q50 lineup, the 2014 is the better buy. If you’re willing to spend more for a broader personality range and can accept the higher average price, the 2015 is the alternative to compare.
