Used 2014 Ford Expedition for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2014 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 3.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 402 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Ford Expedition earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and strong performance, and many also value it for long trips and family use. That lines up well with its role as a full-size SUV built around three-row space, long-distance comfort, and everyday practicality. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and trouble-free ownership, especially for long trips and extended use. That said, some shoppers note high mileage and wear on older examples, so long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how well a used one has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford Expedition?

At 62.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report to confirm accident records, title status, and service history. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your checklist, especially for suspension, drivetrain, and signs of heavy use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance quality, since mileage and wear can matter a lot on a large SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Ford Expedition?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 402 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,058, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $10,077 sits slightly below last year's $10,398.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and family-friendly utility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $11,400, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $10,077 average.
• It brings a more fuel-efficient EcoBoost V6.

The bottom line: If you want the lower-priced option and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2014 is the better value play. If you can spend more for a newer-year mechanical update, the 2015 is the stronger secondary path.
