How much does the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 599 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its spaciousness and range of features, and they also highlight its comfort and reliability. That lines up well with its role as a full-size SUV built for families, long trips, and serious cargo or towing needs. With 30.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable and comfortable, and the feedback also suggests it can be a dependable choice for family use and road-trip duty. At the same time, you should weigh the model’s age and the known engine-related concern mentioned in the vehicle overview when thinking about long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Chevrolet Suburban?

At 51.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a mechanic who can check for prior collision repairs and overall structural condition. Focus especially on body alignment, panel fit, and signs of wear that could point to harder use or incomplete repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Chevrolet Suburban?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 599 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,419, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $11,884 sits slightly above last year's $11,804.

That small increase suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to resell later. A steady price pattern can support predictable depreciation, especially for shoppers who buy at a fair price and keep the vehicle in good condition. Strong owner satisfaction can also help maintain demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want a full-size SUV with strong space, towing, and long-trip usefulness, the 2014 Suburban is a sensible primary choice, especially if you find one with clean history and solid maintenance records. If you are more price-sensitive, you can still shop this year confidently, but you should be especially selective about condition and accident history before moving forward.
