How much does the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 1.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 593 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and family-friendly usefulness, and they also value the range of features it offers for long trips. If you want a full-size SUV built around passenger room, cargo capacity, and towing ability, the Suburban fits that use case well. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable and dependable, with comfort and long-haul usability standing out in owner feedback. That said, you should still approach any used example with care, because long-term ownership risk depends heavily on maintenance history and how the vehicle was used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Chevrolet Suburban?

At 51.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear that can come with a large SUV used for family hauling or towing. Focus on overall condition, maintenance consistency, and whether the vehicle has been cared for as a long-term daily driver.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Chevrolet Suburban?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 593 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,436, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $11,803 sits slightly below last year's $12,035.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy in at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and documentation than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract attention because shoppers in this segment tend to value space, comfort, and capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should buy the 2014 if you want a full-size SUV with strong owner satisfaction, a softer used-market price, and plenty of inventory to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also keep nearby years on your shortlist, but the 2014 remains a sensible target when you find a clean, well-documented example.
