Is the 2014 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Audi Q5 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its performance, comfort, smooth ride, stylish design, and premium-feeling features, and many also describe it as a good value for a luxury SUV. In practical terms, that fits you well if you want a refined, roomy SUV with everyday usefulness and an upscale cabin rather than a sporty or rugged personality. With 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on comfort, smoothness, and a trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers. At the same time, you should weigh the model’s long-term ownership risk carefully, since used examples can vary widely in maintenance history and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi Q5?

At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you commit. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with incomplete maintenance documentation. Focus closely on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $9,687, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $9,704 sits slightly below last year's $10,563.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can make the Q5 more attractive to used buyers but less favorable for sellers trying to maximize return. If you plan to resell later, you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially in a market where buyers have multiple choices.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2014 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example is available at a similar price.
