Owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience overall, with praise for the car’s comfort and driving polish alongside comments that suggest it can be a trouble-free choice when maintained well. What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A4?

At 58.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report to confirm accident records, title status, and maintenance patterns. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on overall condition, since the car’s value depends heavily on how well it has been maintained. It also makes sense to pay close attention to the transmission and cold-start behavior, because those are the kinds of issues buyers have flagged in owner feedback.

What is the 2014 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $9,487 sits slightly below last year's $10,060.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. A lower entry cost can make it easier to preserve value later, especially if the car remains in strong condition and has a clean history. Demand should also benefit from the model’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal among shoppers looking for a premium compact sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 Audi A4 is a smart primary choice if you want a well-liked compact luxury sedan with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price trend. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also use the market’s deal availability to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
