About 2007 Toyota 4Runner
Overview

The 2007 Toyota 4Runner is carried over without any changes from the previous model year. The SUV underwent a thorough redesign for 2006 and is now in its fourth generation. Toyota's midsize SUV is marked by its combination of interior comforts and rugged off-road ability.
All 4Runners are built with durable body-on-frame construction. Twelve 4Runner variations are available this year, each featuring a unique engine, drivetrain, and trim line combination.
The 4Runner is available in three trim levels: SR5, Limited, and Sport Edition. The the SR5 is the base level here, and it includes automatic climate control, keyless entry, a CD player, trip computer, and power windows/locks/mirrors. An upgrade to the Sport Edition adds power seats, 17-inch wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A retuned suspension is also included. The top-tier Limited trim gains running boards, dual climate control, 18-inch wheels, leather, and heated front seats. The options list is extensive for all models. It includes a DVD-based navigation system, Bluetooth, backup camera, rear-seat DVD entertainment, and a premium JBL audio system with a six-disc changer. A ten-speaker JBL audio upgrade is also available.
Each trim is available with either a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain, both of which are teamed with a five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. There are two engine options as well. The smaller offering is a 4.0-liter V6, which generates 236 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. This V6 is also used in the Tacoma pickup. The larger engine is a 4.7-liter V8, good for 260 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque. Both engines use Toyota's variable valve timing system to improve fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and boost power. Two-wheel-drive 4Runners with the V6 have an EPA rating of 18/22 mpg. V-8 models fall to 17/20 mpg. The 4x4 4Runners equipped with the V6 are rated at 17/21 mpg, and the V8s rate 16/19 mpg.

I couldn't ask for a better vehicle. I have a job where I have to carry a lot of bulky equipment and this vehicle has been able to accomodate everything I have needed. I feel very safe in this SUV. It looks, handles and accelerates very nicely! Fun to drive! I have not had any maintenance done besides the recommended services. Toyota is the #1 brand of automobiles so no worries there!
