Overview
"Fast and furious" the 2007 Z4 is being completely restyled and preliminary reviews - particularly from people who didn't like the "plastic interior" and electric power steering in earlier models - have been upbeat.
The 2007 Z4's will have the same sheetmetal as the previous year. The spy photos may have been a 2008, however. The newest version has a sloped roof line and a reworked rear end that make the car appear "squat on its haunches, poised for takeoff." In the words of one reviewer, "It looks completely badass." The new coupe is offered in M with the 255-hp, 3.0-liter engine and standard Z4 strength.

This car is an excellent value, having just 43,109 miles! As a bonus it also had a sport package - sport suspension, spoiler, sport seats, and sport mode. It passed all the Carly Connected tests. I compared a low mileage Z4 M, but the Z4 was a better value for me.

It definitely is a fun car to drive. Has the best engine BMW has N52 I6. The Porsche Boxer and Mercedes SLK are similar and have different options to offer. My main reason for this car is that the cost of Maintenance and parts are considerably cheaper than the other coupe’s.

I am very impressed with the 2007 Z4 3.0si. Ive owned a 2001 Z3 M Roadster in the past, which I enjoyed. This Z4 is comfortable (Im 63), smooth and powerful. I decided that I dont need to make the additional investment to have an M. This model had the 6 spd manual and the sport package. Ive also had a 350Z and a 370Z Nismo and was thinking Id go back to a Nissan Z until I drove and bought this Z4.

The car is great. Small, responsive, excellent pickup, strong brakes and looks great. The interior is well laid out bearing in mind it is a 2 seat sports car. Manual transmission purrs through the gears. Akin to driving an S2000 without the need to wind it up to feel the power. You can drive civil in the Z and be perfectly happy.
