FAQs
If you default on your mortgage because you're trying to pay off your new 2007 Audi A8 full-size sedan, there's no need to worry. The A8 is so luxurious inside, offering so many amenities and nice touches, that you could easily live inside it and not notice any difference. Plenty of legroom to stretch out, massaging seats, leather upholstery, power lumbar supports in all seats, and a powerful sound system -- plus when you wake up in the morning you're already halfway to work.
Every year it seems to get a little more powerful, and for its 10-year anniverary, it's the base and A8L versions of the 2007 Audi A8 that benefit from a 20-hp boost. The 4.2-liter, V8 engine now hits 350-hp. The A8L W12 is still content with its mere 450-hp. Though you get more thrill behind the wheel, you do sacrifice some fuel economy in the W12. Another change for 2007 is the addition of 20-inch wheels in the Sports Package offered with the 4.2 A8s. This package includes the four-setting air suspension that adapts to road conditions and driving experiences (sedate Comfort to sporty Dynamic). The new wheels and the air suspension are standard on the W12, as are a rearview camera and satellite radio. A DVD system option is available only with the W12.
Since its inception ten years ago, the Audi A8 has been a subtle exemplar of elegance and expert engineering. Though it still lags behind its Mercedes and BMW equivalents in terms of sales, this much less overtly flashy luxury sedan has introduced technological innovations, such as the rigid aluminum body, quattro AWD, and air suspension, that improve handling and maneuverability. It has introduced safety innovations such as standard front and rear, side curtain, and knee airbags, and LED lights that are more power-efficient. And it continues to offer more standard features than any car in its class. Major complaints over the years seem to focus on poor customer service and lots of little repair needs. But the driving experience and interior comfort seem to far outweigh these issues.

(12 reviews)This car is a perfect balance of a large luxury sedan and sports car power and handling. Both come at a cost of maintenance and fuel but the benefits are worth every penny. It's elegant inside and out and a true pleasure to drive.
A very nice luxury sedan with very nice speed. good gas mileage too. 0-60 in 5.8 is nice also for a car of its size. I'd buy this over an S500 and possibly over a 750i.
Like it; wasnt my first choice; its got more controls than shaunos Airbus 320
very good ride long distance, very fast tops out at over 180 mph. check my videos to see.
