Used 2006 Ford Crown Victoria LX for Sale near Dallas, TX

One of the best cars for road trips. Very comfortable with lots of space. They are powerful and yet yield fair economy. They are not the image of young drivers; they are driven mostly by big cops or old guys.

Once GM stopped making the Caprice and RWD V8 Impalas in 1996, I had turned my attention to a few different cars in '06: a Chevrolet Malibu (Ford hadn't released the Fusion yet), a late 1990s Cadillac De Ville or either the Camero or Mustang; then later the Ford Crown Victoria once I'd seen some styles I'd liked (originally, I did not like the way the Crown Victoria looked). Ultimately, my need for trunk and interior to haul gear, a warranty, and low insurance premiums forced me to opt for the Crown Victoria rather than than a Malibu. Once I'd seen the beautiful instrument cluster on the Crown Victoria, and the $17k model with only 9,600 miles on it available in San Jose, I HAD to buy it on the spot.
