For 2005, the Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 got a new Power Wagon trim with new electric locking front and rear wheel differentials, which will further reduce the wear and tear on your wheels when you corner. Power sunroof and Sirius radio now come as options. Finally, the Ram 2500 stands a couple inches taller and gets some new 33 inch off-road tires. This powerful domestic pickup gives you plenty to choose from with its 20 trims. All 20 have an impressive standard 5.7 L, 345 hp V8 powertrain with available 4 and 5 speed automatic or 6 speed manual transmission. In addition, all trims come in either 2 door, 3 seat or 4 door, 6 seat configurations. Max towing capacity generally ranges from 11000 to just over 13000 lbs. Overall, drivers like the Dodge Ram 2500's towing, engine power, smooth ride, and comfortable interior. On the other hand, the rear seat could use a little extra room and the Ram 2500 doesn't have enough variety for some when it comes to seating configurations. In any event, the 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 does pretty much everything you'd expect from an upper echelon domestic pickup truck.

Very attractive truck. Has held up nicely for 4 years. Does very well in the snow. Very roomy inside. Has been very reliable. Feel very safe when driving in it, and very fun to drive. Low maintenance. Good vehicle to own.

Ram power wagon is a force to be reckoned with! A very capable off-road vehicle while still maintaining an impressive towing/payload capacities. Also naturally sits level on a factory 2.5 inch lift. Forget having to put cheap aftermarket parts on it to make it sit on the ground without looking like it will burrow in. Tough truck for sure. I love it!

I hate the trans (I loved my manual), but overall, its been a really good truck. Hauls my family and dog all over the place. Wish I had a large enough garage to fit it into! It's a good truck.

Add 35" tires and with no other changes this truck can be driven anywhere. The many options of the power wagon package make it the off road powerhouse it is. Winch, skid plates, lockers, 4.56 gears, real transfer case and still very reliable grocery geter soccer mom or dad truck.

I love my dodge. It has lasted a long time and has held up through it all. It is a bit on the heavy side but that makes it good for hauling/pulling. I've moved 3 times and having this truck came in handy.
