About 2003 BMW X5
The 2003 BMW X5 is "more luxurious and better equipped" than earlier versions of BMW's prime SUV. Drivers found it "fast and comfortable" with "plenty of power" being delivered from a V8 engine. The 2003 X5 comes as three models, with increasing horsepower and standard equipment: the 3.0i, the 4.4i, and the 4.6is. Drivers say the sport package offers "much nicer wheels" and is worth the added cost, but they also recommend an extended warranty package, as like most BMW's, the X5 will need to go to the dealer for most repairs.
