Overview

The 2002 Impala continued to impress its drivers with a strong engine, good mileage, and comfortable ride for five adults.
The base engine remained a 3.4-liter, 180-horsepower V6, while the standard for the LS stayed a 3.8-liter, 200-horsepower V6. The standard engine gets 21/32 city/highway, while the LS pays a small cost for its larger engine, with 19/29 mileage.
The safety for both trims is excellent, with the LS slightly better with standard side airbags.

There is nothing that I do not like about this car. I would definitely recommend this car to others. It looks very sleek, extremely smooth ride. For a car this size and weigh, it is very easy on the gas mileage.

I love it! Little luxury, little sporty, a lot of fun! Takes off fast too :) Handles sick! Brakes are excellant is summer, good in the winter. Fun to drive around in! Appearance is beautiful, pretty good gas mileage. Definately perfect for me!

Good daily driver, handles well and has a lot of power. It is reliable and inexpensive to maintain. Good for interstate and back road driving, as well as driving in inclement wether. I would recommend this car to any one that needs a practical reliable vehicle. The low coast of maintenance makes up for the bad fuel economy

Although I've had to replace a couple of different parts it is fairly reliable. I've driven it to OK and Ames with no problems. Never broke down for me. Large and comfortable. Not a granny car like most ppl say. Although I'd get one for my grandma if she wanted one. Good gas mileage. It's my baby.
