Used 2001 Chevrolet Prizm for Sale near Raleigh, NC

Bought this car car in May of 2004 with only 25K on it. It's a typical 4 door sedan, identical to the Toyota Corolla, but with a lower sticker price. The LSi package came with keyless entry, power locks, windows, and mirrors which have been a convenience over the years. The car has great visibility with no noticeable blind spots. Other than tires, battery, brakes, etc. the car has required no major repairs. Over the past 10 years, I have commuted to and from work over 300 miles a week on less than 10 gallons of gas. It"s a fairly simple, straight forward wehicle that is easy to service. It handles well with all-season tires. Steering, handling and acceleration have all been adequate for my mainly highway driving.. The car is not a showy, "fun to drive" sporty looking car, but a practical , dependable economical vehicle ideal for commuting.

This is a great car that is dependable and gets great mileage.

The Chevy Prizm is a great value with an engine that is strong and durable. I would compare it to a Toyota Corolla.

Performance - appropriate for an 1.9 liter engine, not disappointing, not surprising Build quality - very good, no need for repairs other than usual wear and tear Appearance - exterior - does not stand out in the crowd, interior - very basic and simple Cost of Ownership - good gas mileage (25/32), cheap regular maintenance, wear and tear repairs little more expensive Fun Factor - this car is not equipped to have fun with

Overall good car. Road noise is tiring after long trip. Car always started in the coldest weather. Battery lasted 9 years in the car. Tires lasted long time. Took car a long trip one time and had to keep an eye on oil with extended periods of 75 mph driving.
