The 1996 Honda Odyssey is essentially the same vehicle as the previous year. With a five-door design that includes four passenger swing-out doors, like a car, it is traditional in design. It has a 140-hp, 2.2-liter engine.
On the plus side for the 1996 Honda Odyssey, owners really enjoy the looks and drivability of the Odyssey minivan. Probably the most appreciated aspect from owners reviewed is basically no blind spots for the driver. It has great gas mileage and, with the back seat folded down, terrific cargo space. With the back seat up, there is the option for seating 6 or 7 people.
There were a significant amount of owner reviews that pointed out some of the shortcomings for the 1996 Honda Odyssey. Most problems from the prior year have been resolved. Other 1996 odyssey reviews complain that the van is lacking power, and is very noisy on the highway.

Moon roof and sun roof, pluse good sound system. Economical four cyclinder with loads of torque. Seven seater van with comfort built on an accord chasis so handles very well for a van. Also doubles as a handy for moving vehicle as the seats fold away to provide a large cargo space.

Thee BEST minivan EVA! in other words its very affordable to buy and to maintain. power is decent. it actually handles like a car. we have only had to replace the ignition switch and o2 sensor in the 5+ years. just hit 233k and still ticking!
