I have had my jeep for years now, bought it used from a friend. I have had to put some money into it for normal wear and tear items but other than that, this thing runs like a tank. It goes through and over anything. High mileage means nothing for the straight 6 4.0 . I have two kids and would not want to put them in anything else when it comes to their safety.

Had a 97 Jeep Cherokee. These cars will run forever if you take care of them. Easy to work on. The older ones are the only ones you can still work on. Theyre rugged. Drive great.

A cheap 4x4 that has great offroad capabilities and replacement parts are abundant and cheap.The only solid front axle SUV that is tough enough to take off road, yet tame enough for the road.The 4.0 ho motor is one of the best jeep motors ever made.

Awesome off-road, awesome on-road. Comfortable, loads of space, can tow well. All round, of the the best utility vehicles out there. Even if you dont jack it up and out big tires on it. But you definitely should. I did, and it makes it a TRUE go-anywhere, do anything vehicle.
