This car is great to get you from place to place; it serves the primary function of a car very well. Styling is typical 90s econo-box, and acceleration is mild (though not quite as slow as automatic models). But, the car has proven to be very reliable, have a surprising amount of cargo room for a coupe, and gets impressive gas mileage (30+ mpg) to boot.

My FIRST Topaz was the 2.3 4cyl 2-door coupe GS. I seriously beat the crap out of that poor car! Now, I have the V6 Topaz, I have to say that my '93 V6 is much better. My 4cyl Topaz developed problems changing gears, and one day it started to stall at stop signs and red lights. The starter failed and I had to change the alternator twice. Mysteriously enough though, it did serve the purpose at the time!!

the car is ok...i guess...it does get great gas mileage....the performance is ify...it just depends on the car...it has a will of its own...the build needs some repairs...the appearacne is ify...it could just be a color thing....the cost isnt that bad it has good gas mileage but the maintenance could get expensive if everything was to be repaired

It's in perfect shape, gets great mileage and is my general all around work car. Poor Performance, I have to beg it to get up to 60. It's not really fun but it does the job. Plus I'm not concerned with door dings.

i dont like that its a four cylinder id rather have a v6 or v8 but i do like how it gets great gas milage! Other than thats its a great little car!! I have done some work to it myself like two 12 inch audiobahn sub woofers powered by a 1000 watt explode amp!! I also put a performance wing on the trunk for the rices look an at the moment i have no muffler on it but i have a huge fart canready to be put on in the near future!!
