The 1984 Chevrolet Corvette was the first of the fourth generation (C4). It featured a complete redesign with the exception of the driveline. It was well-received by both consumers and press, and was highly praised for its tight cornering, aerodynamic appearance, and overall performance. The base engine remained a 350-ci V8 rated at 205 horsepower. Again, no other choices were available. Buyers could choose a 4+3 transmission, an unusual configuration which combined a 4-speed manual with an automatic overdrive on the top three gears.

Nothing to dislike, The 84 Corvette is the best looking, best handling, for the money!!!! The Quality talks to you when you drive it.The cross fire fuel injection runs perfect.The C4 handling is the best with rack and pinion steering. The 4/3 auto transmission is excellent, what more can i say, go buy one!! Check it out! The 1984 Corvette was rated.. Top 10 BEST Corvettes ever built!!

All I have to do is blink and I have passed you!!! Plus it is not a gas hog like many think. Haven't had to make many repairs and it is 26 years old! Not bad for a sports car.

This is a fun car to drive - plenty of power and sticks to the road like it's on a rail. Just put new tires on it and it feels like it has a new suspension.

This is an awsome car to drive. The engine's tourque is amazing. I have a 4+3 manual transmission that works great. I have owned this car for fourteen years and have a little above average maintance on it. This vette handles better than any other car that I have driven. The cross-fire setup has been problem free all of these years.
