Overview

The 1982 Chevrolet Camaro had the third-ever total redesign of the model. The exterior was completely redone to give a leaner, meaner look to Chevrolet's signature muscle car. It weighed about 500 pounds less than the 1981 version, yet retained the creature comforts desired by its drivers.
The interior had new comfortable bucket seats and a redesigned dash with easy-to-read gauges. The car was so popular that it was selected as the pace car for the Indy 500. The '82 Camaro seemed to herald great success for third generation of the car.

I love the looks i get in my Camaro and everyone always wants a ride :) I love how the color changes from midnight blue to black at night, the car is extremely fun to dive as well. Over all this car is sweet!

I was excited to own a Camaro, but was quickly disappointed. It had a rough ride and was noisy for a new car - a little like driving a truck. I love the classic Camaro's and the newest models are beautiful, but the in-between years are a let-down.

This car had went under a full restoration and was complete about 3 years ago. Engine was rebuilt and bored 0.30 over. The gas mileage was pretty good considering it's a V8 car. It was a fun car to drive. I would recommend a friend to give a car like this a try and see what they think. Sadly this car is out of commission due to a electrical fire under the hood. This car might get repaired and be back on the road again.

This was my second car I ever owned. I was only 18 and foolish, but I still miss this car. It drove like a race car and turned corners like it was on rails. It was simply a blast to drive. But like most Chevrolet's I've owned, it broke down frequently. If I wasn't in love with it as much as I was I wouldn't have kept it for so long (4 years).
