The owner let his friend borrow the car we were going to purchase and it had 400 miles on it. They offered a 100$ discount.

I had to play phone tag and also the sales representative liked to lie a lot and when I called them out on it they would backtrack. Tried to force me to buy a car right away as well. Overall unpleasant experience attempting to do business with them.

I was exceptionally disappointed by my experience at Larry H Miller VW. I was interested in seeing a car listed on CarGurus, I contacted the dealership and the salesman (whom I won’t name), set the time for me to view the car and assured me it would be ready for me at the time that HE CHOSE. It took me an hour to travel to the dealership. When I arrived, the car was absolutely beat to hell, bald tires, filthy inside and out, clearly hadn’t been washed in weeks, sticky stuff in the interior, curbed wheels, and it had been hit in at least one spot. I was disappointed to say the least, I really wanted this car. A simple 2 minute car wash would’ve gone a long way to show me that my time was valued and the dealer takes pride in their inventory. This is the type of experience that I might expect from a private seller, but I have never had such an alarming experience at any dealership, ever, in my 20 years as a car buyer. The dealer experience was terrible and I was dealing with a bunch of sales men that have no idea how a car even works. I had this red 2002 ford thunderbird put up on a lift so I could inspect it. All of the bushings for the upper and lower control arms and ball joints are all rotted out and are near its life. Also all five tires (including spare) are all expired wich also menas they are prone to blow out. All of wich I stated are all Massive safety hazards. He quoted me nearly 20,000$ for the car after I told the salesman all of the safety hazards and he said he could take off up to 200$ for thoes "things". Well thoes "things" can costs you upwards of 3200$ to fix and are all a safety hazard. Be ware! They don't care at all about the condition of used cars and just say they are "old so it's supposed to be like that".
