Volkswagen dealerships near me (Charlotte, NC)

Contacted the dealer via internet inquiry. Got an initial response, but no answers to direct questions. I followed up with a call and message. Received a call back about 4 hours later, diff person, still no direct answers to questions about addtl charges, but a “We’ll send you an email.” The info showed seller’s asking price was 10k over what was listed online (more than a new current year model would cost). Dealer add-ons were around $2400, with ridiculous items. In all, there were three different prices listed for that vehicle. My response to that prompted an offer of a detailed, transparent breakdown of final price & chosen add-ons. No info yet. Continuing my search. Are customers really agreeing to these made up charges (could we please stop the nitro in tires nonsense?) and different numbers than advertised?

Have not bought anything from them yet but I am considering buying later especially a truck they have

Regrettably I did not drive to the dealership in Gastonia to see the Beetle I was hoping to look at, test drive and potentially purchase. I certainly appreciate all the staff who worked in advance to display this vehicle in a clean manner both inside/out after detailing. Thank you for your time both yesterday/today. I only wish I was able to finalize the deal. Also see text message sent to Ximoara where I applauded all the events that went into my potentially leaving the dealership behind the wheel of this vehicle.

I had a great experience working with Robert Nixon when I purchased my 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. He took the time to answer all of my questions, never made me feel pressured, and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase. His excellent customer service and attention to detail made buying my vehicle a great experience. If you’re looking for someone who is honest, patient, and truly cares about helping customers, I highly recommend asking for Robert Nixon!

Sean Scott was excellent
