I would be driving 6 hours to see the car. No chance for inspection unless I can take it somewhere in Chicago. I have an 05 and these cars can put you in the poor house when they get old . I’ve spent 10k on mine . Not sure I’m going to make the drive . If they take it to an independent, I might. It’s risky . 30 grand for a car that could cost 10 more . I’d rather get one for 40k with 20M on it.

I simply asked for out the door price and to include breakdown of costs via email. All I received were emails stating to come in and shop. That's what I did via the internet. Get with the times and update your business model. You can easily provide simple price transparency via email. Or is there something you are trying to hide?

Overall good. Made an offer and we went back and forth but minimal and I got the car for what I initially offered. Easy process
