Joel is a fucking con artist. Tried to tell me with my 80k a year job and willing to put down 5-7k for a 5 year old truck with 140k miles it wasn’t possible. So he tried to sell me some bullshit new ram 1500. I know the game. He just didn’t know that.

I have worked in the car business in the past and I do know a really good and motivated finance manager can get car approvals done with certain lenders despite credit challenges. I have just been approved with a lender because a finance manager made it possible despite credit challenges. Do not waste your time with this dealership. They will also shot gun you to every lender even when they said they would not do that. There are hundreds of dealerships out there that will see you as a human and not a credit number.

I went to look at a car priced $21995 but when the agent presented the first paperwork, the price was raised to $23995. Aside from the $2k difference, it also raised the taxes. The agent called the finance guy who wouldn’t honor the internet price, saying it’s a great deal and that internet price was there to get people to come. I wouldn’t have come for that price.
