Melloy Dodge was running the bait and switch scam on a Durango I was looking at. This dealership is shady and should be avoided at all costs. I scheduled an appointment with Chase the salesman at Melloy to come look at a 2025 Durango R/T. The Vehicle had been sitting on their lot for 92 days according to Car Gurus. The next day I headed down to Melloy Dodge to check out the Durango and the Salesman was waiting for me at the front of the dealership, we exchanged pleasantries and he told me to wait while he went and got the key. He returned 15 minutes later with some lame story how it had just been sold and he had other Durango's that he could show me. I have seen this bait and switch scam before. The dealer puts an ad with a really good deal to get you to their lot, then tell you it is sold so they can show you their other stock and try to get you into a more expensive vehicle.
