CARMAX Plano was an awful experience. Rude customer service! Not a single person stood up to greet us, just sat in their chairs and made us come to them. Nobody helped us search for the vehicle on the lot, we were told “it’s somewhere out there” and pointed to their large car lot. I called the dealership to confirm vehicle was still available, drove two hours that same day to the dealership only to be told it was unavailable.

The car advertised that it had 13,000 miles. After calling, I discovered it was Not Actual miles.

As a buyer you should not have to chase a salesman down and call multiple times, leave voice mails that went unanswered just to get a reply. Wouldn’t recommend this dealership. And not to mention I was trying to buy the car and they sold it out from under me.

The advertised price is not the actual price. This dealership adds a mandatory $1,990 package to every vehicle that is not clearly reflected in the online listing. This affects search results, payment estimates, and overall deal ratings, which feels misleading. The add-on package did not provide meaningful value in my opinion. Window tint is already standard on most vehicles (except the front windows), and I was not shown any real paint or interior protection. The GPS tracking feature also did not seem useful. Because of this experience, I chose not to move forward with the dealership. Buyers should confirm the full out-the-door pricing before investing time in the process.
