I did not view the vehicle in person. Online only. After more research, I found out that the hatch door opened to the right instead of up. At that point I’ve chosen to look for a more updated model where the back door opens upward.

Things are okay

I came to test drive a car and really wanted to buy it however, there were several issues with the car that we found suspicious. There was overpaint on passenger window edge and at closer look the whole side of car had been repainted. No explanation. Front rim was scratched/scraped. Hood did not fit snugly with car frame- all looked like an accident cover up. It may not have been Carmax but surely they should have done a better job of inspecting and priced accordingly and being transparent. The steering wheel lever to adjust it was broken off and inside the cavity it broke off from. Lastly was a rattling that would not go away while driving. We tried to find it and fix it but nothing worked. Again no explanation. I also filled out a detailed online application for financing and was supposed to receive in 5 minutes. Its been over 24 hrs and still have not received it. Wasted 3 hours waiting and discussing and only 1 hour was for driving and looking over car. Salespeople were nice.

Jordi was very helpful. Unfortunately our timing was just off, and we actually missed out on two of your cars. But Concord Mazda will be at the top of our go-to list in case we ever need to buy another vehicle. Thanks! 😊
