My wife and I were in contact with a manger and a sales associate for over a week. They both knew we were using Outside Financing. They agreed and even sent a price letter. We arrive at the dealer, looked at the car, like it and we’re ready to sign and drive. They had us wait 2 hrs until after 6 when the bank is closed and then Kevin finally comes back and says we don’t take auto checks, we need a cashiers check. Now this was never disclosed in any of our 30 phone calls, texts and emails that they swarmed me with every day. Then he says you can let us run your credit and see what we can do for you. Seriously bro, wasting my time and my wife and child’s time. As we grab our things bc we declined him, his manager calls us over and says can you get that check on Monday. Then he grabs the initial paper with the 39,763 target price and says he’s giving us a copy and changes the numbers and gives it to us with target price 42,900. Smh, LIES, they never intended to agree to outside financing

I contacted the dealer via Car Gurus and they responded the following morning. The salesman was knowledgeable and accommodating. I had a fair offer for my trade-in within an hour and a deal was in the works shortly thereafter. I drove out to the dealer in Georgetown from Houston a day later and accepted delivery of my new 2023 Charger Scatpack. I was disappointed that the dealer did not offer specialty plate transfers but that would be my only disappointment.
