...Due to distance and having no car -- I purchased the Kia Soul online from Moore Auto. My salesperson, Erin-- was the most patient / nicest person ever. She described the car very accurately. After it was delivered by 2 polite, kind, elderly gentlemen --I was impressed with the immaculate detailing -NICE n clean It looked practically brand new. So, delivery was a success. A couple days later -I had a problem with a "safety feature". which I encountered in the parking lot of my insurance agency. The car shut itself off as I was backing-up. When this happened I could not steer,and I had no brakes-.I called Erin and she sent a mechanic with the contract - so I could sign where I'd missed initialing one line. A mechanic showed up with the contract in hand--after I dealt with signin it-- We talked about the safety feature, I wished to turn off. He showed me the (counter-intuitive ) control-- which lights when one is sucessful in shutting the feature OFF- and is UN-LIT--WHEN it is ON.

The vehicle hadn't been detailed and looked terrible. I drove 3 hours to see a vehicle The was very dirty and couldn't drive it because they didnt have the title. Very dissapointing.

My experience there was one of the worst. I will not recommend anyone to shop for a car with Lafontaine. The salesman Mike, lied to me. He made me believe I'd get a lesser rate than my credit union. He also said that my credit union was one of their lenders, he plays golf with some of the lenders and has been doing this for 26 years. He never once showed me what was available in the inventory not even the SUV I advised I was interested in. I already had a $20k pre-approval from my credit union. He still allowed me to leave
