Bait and switch. Car was never available from the start, yet they relentlessly texted and called me everyday to try to get me to come in for weeks. Finally on the day we show up, they say it was just sold, despite them texting me an hour earlier trying to get me to come in saying it was available. Classic bait and switch, which is supposedly illegal under California law.

Probably the easiest and fastest experience I have had buying a car! Working with Pedro was great

The car was not described as what the add said. The vehicle needed to be Jumpstarted for it to start. Both headlights had a lot of water/moisture inside them. And the car looked like it had a lot of corrosion issues/paint issues from being in snow climate cities. I would not recommend this vehicle. Dealership would not fix or correct the headlight issues, like the dealership I just purchased from.

I wish I could give Hayward Honda 6 stars! From the first contact through email/text, they verified the asking price and also sent me the out the door price. Based on Carguru, they had the best posted prices for the car we wanted. But I had been burned with a bait and switch from a different Honda dealer so I was very careful before heading out for a test drive. My concerns were quickly put aside. Everyone at Hayward Honda is friendly and professional. We worked with "Bong" who was a total delight. He gave us information, took us for a test drive (we tested two cars), but did not put any pressure on us to buy. He definitely worked with us throughout the purchase when we had to unfreeze my credit report even though he was late for his family Easter dinner. The finance person, Fahid, and other service person, Pasha, were also wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

The dealership has a solid inventory and offers fair pricing, which makes the purchasing process straightforward and competitive. The car I purchased (Honda Civic 2025) was clean, like brand- new. The actual condition vs. the listing was 99% accurate, and the remaining 1% was basically some scuffs and curb rash on one of the rims. The customer service at the dealership was welcoming and accommodating. For certified used vehicles, however, they don’t negotiate on price,even a dollar. That said, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to post-sale customer support. Shortly after my purchase, I contacted the dealership regarding a half-inch deep scratch on the driver-side window. I was told someone would reach out to me, but despite calling twice to follow up, I haven’t been able to get hold of anyone or receive a response. Overall, Victory Honda of San Bruno is a good place to buy a car, but improving the post-sale service would make it a truly outstanding dealership.
