Honda dealerships near me (Hickory, NC)

I drove over 2 hours to look at the GMC terrain. When I arrived there the salesperson was with another customer. I took the test drive and was probably going to make the purchase. Even though I had limited contact with sales rep. She told me I could leave deposit and they would hold to Saturday so wife could look at it. While waiting for salesperson to finish with customer for 2 hours I talked to manager. Sales manager was cocky and said they couldn't hold car? He made me feel like he was doing me a favor selling me a car. That he had someone coming the next day to see it. After talking to him he got me so aggravated I left without putting deposit down. Next day surprise surprise the other person didn't show. I believe he was just trying to push this sale. Long story short I bought a better car from a dealership that appreciated my business. Wouldn't go back to Morganton Honda if it was the last dealership left!!!! Was a big waste of day and drive!!!! Doesn't deserve the 1 star.

Friendly staff but the car wasn’t even detailed and dirty and did not want to lower the price.

The Hall Honda folks called me 15 times over the course of 4-5 days and I received several emails also during this same time period ... way too agressive for my liking - additionally, the sales manager flat out lied to me when i asked whether or not their "Internet Assistant" (Elaine) was a real person or AI (robot)...she told me she was real but she worked from home... overly agressive persistence in trying to make a sale is one thing , but lying to the customer is over the top - I will never buy anything from Hall Honda & I will never recommend _

Listed internet price wasnt honored after 400 plus mile drive to dealership ,,3000$ higher price when i arrived,,salesman refused to acknoledge email he sent quoting price ,,sales manager reiterated this is the price by circling it on the invoice sheet after i showed them the email quoting the 4000$ discount ,zero stars for business etiquette or ethics

Timely follow up and answer my questions

Could not come to terms on pricing. Love the car, but dealership doesn't seem to want to sell but a few cars at higher mark up. Doesn't want to negotiate at all on pricing. Not willing to sell cars even close to CarGurus recommended fair price. I sent them a copy of CarGurus 'price to shoot for' and they said the price was incorrect and quoted a price close to MCRP. This is all information I have.
