A positive note about the dealership is that they responded quickly to my question that I asked via CarGurus app. But my overall experience is with the dealership is poor. I informed the dealership that I was interested in a used 2023 Ford Explorer on their lot. Since the dealership is 30 minutes away, I asked if they would check if the vehicle had massaging seats since this feature may have been removed due to the COVID chip shortage. The only way to verify is to physically get in the vehicle and activate the feature. Unfortunately, the staff apparently had better things to do and never communicated with me again. Every dealership I asked to check for the feature did, except "Ford Auburn". I ended up buying a vehicle, but not from this dealership.

I requested an out the door price for a 2023 F250 XL Crew Cab leftover. I only received the internet price of $51,334.00. The vehicle has has been on the dealer lot over 700+ days. I reside in another state a 3.5 hour drive from the dealership and wanted all the numbers to make a decision. Additionally, the vehicle has 11 open recalls and I pointed that out in my request. I was informed by another internet salesperson that the vehicle is on "stop sale", disappointing... Why bother posting it for sale and at that price.

My overall experience was ok, not good and not bad. A few hidden costs along the way once we got to the negotiating point. After a conversation with the sales person to go over these charges, the second version also came back incorrect. The dealbreaker for me was the shipping costs. There is also a charge for them to receive and deliver your trade-in, which was more than the value they offered for my car. That is what caused me to look only at local options.
