Ford dealerships near me (JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX)

I’m glad I only gave them my email, because the salesperson I got assigned is relentless! I read reviews about the dealership that mentioned they don’t accept pre-approvals, and CarGuru says that the car has been on the market >100 days, so I asked about those two things. The response I got was ‘we move our inventory pretty regularly’ and ‘who is your pre-approval with?’. To say that those responses don’t answer either of my questions (do y’all accept preapprovals/ why is this car taking so long to sell) is an understatement. If I were to buy from this dealership, it would be from somebody that isn’t going to josh me around. Nick Estrada, I’m not interested in doing business with you.

My experience was horrible. The salesman was pleasant, initially. When it was time to discuss numbers and trade in, he dismissed my vehicle due to some pet fur on the floorboard. Then when it was time to talk numbers he did the “Write right here that you will purchase the vehicle tonight for this price….” Totally unprofessional. He then told me that I could afford the vehicle at the price he was trying to sell me on. Total waste of my time.

The buying experience through McCombs Ford West was absolutely terrible. Starting with the salesman who literally said “the numbers have to go somewhere” but couldn’t actually tell me what I was paying for or what were the figures that the sales price was comprised of. When confronted about an $800 prove discrepancy from sticker to sales sheet the sales manager refused to allow me to see the breakdown. Ultimately ended up not finalizing a sale with the dealership due to lack of transparency and shady dealings. They also didn’t like it when I presented them with the math (using their numbers) to show that they were trying to charge an extra $500-800. Worst buying experience ever, with zero customer consideration. I went to another reputable San Antonio dealer and got the exact same deal at the right price. Don’t waste your time at McCombs Ford West.

Was very satisfied. Response to my request, and was always available to answer my concerns. Also, was very forthcoming, honest and that’s what I valued most!!!!!

J was amazing! He contacted me right away about a truck I liked. He also found another vehicle on the lot when he noticed I wasn't interested in the original vehicle I was looking at. Unfortunately, one vehicle didn't interest me enough to purchase and the other was out of my price point. J took my information and will be on the lookout for a later model make and model we discussed.
