They told me that I couldn't take their rusty used car to be checked out by my mechanic, that I had to bring my mechanic to their dealership. (As Jackie Gleason used to say, har-har-hardy-har-har.) Their salesman's interaction conveyed sexism.

From the start, he made us feel comfortable and got us driving the truck we wanted to see right away. He answered all of our questions quickly and made the process smooth and stress-free. We came in with our own financing, and I was a little skeptical at first because some dealerships try to push their own lenders or make things difficult. Advantage Hodgkins was the complete opposite — they respected our choice and never pressured us, which we really appreciated. The negotiations were fair, and we also had a trade-in that we felt was handled honestly. The payoff for our trade-in was processed within a week of the sale, which was impressive. Their finance person, Dennis, was also great — transparent, patient, and not pushy about add-ons we didn’t want. It was great!
