Worst car buying experience ever, so many red flags. Went in to make a deal but I had to wait a few days for the title to come in, which was fine since it’s not the dealers fault. I put a deposit down to hold it. That day we made negotiations and I was promised a few things that would be completed before the title came in so I don’t have to wait any longer for the car. Once the title came in I made the necessary changes. We set a date to come in. I sent over paperwork and made changes to expedite the process. The day before the appointment I was asked if I can come in that day instead. A hour before coming in I was handed over to another salesperson with out notice or reason. I was then asked to reschedule to the next day. So after re arranging my schedule again I called the next day to come in. When I arrived to close the deal but when inspected the car, the work that was promised was not done. I did not close the deal due to the overall experience and took my business elsewhere.

Matt got back to me promptly to requests for information. Not pushy. Very cooperative. Seemed to have some flexibility in order to meet my needs.

Horrible communication & overall experience. I called multiple times & was repeatedly told a salesperson would call me back 30 mins ,no one ever did. When we went in person, the car had to be jumped to test drive it. It was obvious it hadn’t been driven in a while. After the test drive, we were left waiting while 2–3 different reps. came to speak with us about the same vehicle. I requested the inspection report several times. When they finally provided it, it was dated June 2025. While discussing issues, we went back to check it again&the vehicle started malfunctioning. It shut off, the lights flickered on and off&I even saw the check engine light come on. They said the battery “needed to be replaced” and that it would take 30–40 minutes. We ended up waiting about two hours. During that time, they claimed they were “aggressively negotiating” the price with the GM, but they never moved on the price at all. To make matters worse, if we did not finance with them the car is $10k more!

Motorcar Classics has beautiful cars and are easy to work with on a purchase. I asked to have my own mechanic look at the car and they let him use a lift and spend 2 hours going over the car. The small issues he found are being corrected by the dealer before I pick up the car.

This was the easiest and best car-buying experience I have ever had. We were buying the car remotely and Wayne was beyond helpful. He sent us a video walk-around of the vehicle and then sent another making sure to point out every ding and blemish to make sure we knew exactly what we were considering before we flew up. there was no "used car salesman" vibe. He was honest, up front and transparent. The worst part of the whole experience was the traffic getting out of New York after the purchase. :-)
