I arrived at the dealership and asked for the person they said would help me via chat. He wasn’t even working that day. They found someone to help. The car was there but during the test drive I noticed the check engine light on. When I inquired about it, the salesman told me they just got it, it hadn’t been through inspection, etc. Everything he told me went against the info I had already seen on the Carfax report. The car has been in their possession over a month. He said he would talk to the mechanics the next day and follow up with why the check engine light was on. It’s been about a week and absolutely no one has reached out. This could have been the easiest sale. It literally is the car I’ve been looking for.

I was genuinely interested in purchasing a CPO MDX and requested an itemized OTD price while comparing it with another vehicle. When I spoke with the pre-owned manager, I explained that I had a written OTD offer from another dealership. Instead of simply providing their best price, I felt my credibility was questioned and the conversation became disrespectful. I actually had the competing dealer’s written buyer’s order showing the exact OTD amount. I decided to take my business elsewhere. A customer should be able to discuss a legitimate competing offer without feeling accused of being dishonest.

What stood out to me the most, besides time which you’ll spend at any dealership, was their professionalism and work ethic as far as getting you what you want. I can’t lie, probably the best dealership experience I’ve ever had.
