Jaguar is cleaning house after the 2024 model year, removing the XF, I-Pace, E-Pace, and F-Type, leaving only the F-Pace SUV on sale for 2025. The style-forward XF sedan is every bit as upscale and special feeling as buyers should expect from Jaguar, but it’s an aging option in an ever-evolving luxury car market.

What’s New for the 2024 Jaguar XF
Jaguar made a few changes to the XF for its final year on sale, though the most prominent update was the removal of all trims except the R-Dynamic SE. Even so, the lone remaining trim picked up more standard features for the model year.
Design
The XF’s low-slung looks project a level of sportiness that its powertrains can’t match. It features a sloping hood with large air intake vents and curvy headlights. The sides and rear are mostly free of badging and logos, and the car’s sculpted lower panels give it a dramatic look, even while sitting still.
Powertrain
There’s no performance drivetrain option for the XF in 2024, but the two available four-cylinder engines are more than strong enough for in-town cruising and daily commutes. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. A more powerful version is available, producing 296 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed transmission and either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).
The XF balances sportiness and comfort, and it makes for a competent drive on curvy back roads. Its suspension system keeps body roll in check, but it helps maintain a mostly smooth ride on rough roads.

Interior
While the XF’s cabin feels somewhat dated compared to its rivals, it’s a well-designed and visually pleasing space. The five-seat sedan comes standard with synthetic leather upholstery and heated front seats. Heated rear outboard seats and a heated steering wheel are available. The front seats are spacious and nicely padded, and the rear bench has good support, even for taller adults.
Technology
Jaguar equips an 11.4-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the 2024 XF. Other standard tech includes a Meridian audio system, HD radio, SiriusXM radio, dual-zone climate controls, wireless device charging, and ambient interior LED lighting.
Safety
As a somewhat low-production luxury car, the XF doesn’t receive crash testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). That said, it gets a solid list of standard safety equipment, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, parking sensors, an adaptive speed limiting system, and driver-attention monitoring. Available features include a head-up display, a rear camera mirror system, and automatic high beams.

Pricing and Release Date
Pricing for the 2024 Jaguar XF starts at $51,075 for the base powertrain and extends to $54,775 for the uprated engine. Jaguar offers a few added-cost options that drive the price higher by a few thousand dollars in some cases.
