The 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty is a massive, capable full-size truck that’s designed for the worksite as well as for daily life, getting around town, road trips, and more. The F-350 has been completely redesigned for the 2023 model year. Though it has fresh looks and new, tech-savvy features, the truck continues to offer the power and capability for those who need to get work done.

Trims for the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty are XL, XL Off-Road, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Tremor. The XL comes standard with helpful tech features such as Ford’s SYNC infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A host of creature comforts will come in higher-level trims or are offered as optional features. This includes a larger 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless device charging, multiple USB ports, Amazon Alexa integration, and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. The Super Duty is also available with Max Recline seats that can fold completely flat for catching a rest while parked.

The 2023 F-350 Super Duty comes standard with a new 6.8-liter gas V8 engine which puts out 400 horsepower and 435 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can also select a 7.3-liter gas V8 that makes 430 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque. For those looking for serious torque, Ford offers one of two 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine options. The standard Power Stroke makes 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded, high-output version of this diesel engine makes 500 horsepower and a stupendous 1,200 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels or to available four-wheel drive (4WD) through a 10-speed automatic transmission. 4WD is standard on XLT trims and above.

Towing and hauling figures for the new Super Duty were not available at the time of this writing; however, Ford claims best-in-class capacities. More than just big towing numbers, Ford equips the Super Duty with the tools to tow effectively and safely. The Ford Pro Upfit system allows for easy integration of common power equipment. This can include features such as lights, cranes, and plows. The F-350 Super Duty is also available with ProPower Onboard. This includes power outlets inside the cab and in the truck bed. There are even onboard scales so that you can properly judge payload weights.

The helpful features of the new F-350 also extend to the safety and driver-assistance technologies. A new navigation system can help determine the safest path to take if towing a large trailer. In addition to blind-spot monitoring, there’s also the same system, for trailering. There’s also a 360-degree camera view monitor that is designed for towing large trailers.

Pricing had not yet been announced at the time of this writing. The F-350 Super Duty’s gas engine is backed by a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and the diesel engine is backed by a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
