The overall interior was quite nice. The front seats hugged me better and I felt like I was in the seat more. Interior had features suited more for the younger driver. I would only by the Touring model for the bigger and wider tires. Made the ride much better.

"BMW has always paid close attention to the driving experience. The i3 is no exception."
Value Ranked 2014 BMW i3 RWD with Range Extender worse.
"The BMW brand will always command a premium over the competition. A new i3 is 2X the price of a new Prius Prime. For what I need in an automobile the two are roughly comparable."

Handling Ranked 2017 Chevrolet Volt Premier FWD better.
"Handling, acceleration (especially in traffic), driver controls (such as the Regen paddle) and saftey features are superior in the Volt. I waited months to be able to test drive the Volt and the Prime on the same day. 2 weeks after that test drive, I took delivery of a 2017 Volt Premier, despite the price difference."
Family Car Ranked 2017 Chevrolet Volt Premier FWD worse.
"Back seats are easier to access especially from one side of the car (because you dont want kids going into the street to get in and out). Cargo capacity and access is better in the Prius."
