2016 Toyota Prius ReviewCarGurus https://www.cargurus.com
This is my Dads car. Thats exactly what it is, a Dads car. Sure I appreciate all the basic features, like the automatic windows, automatic locking doors and automatic climate control, they werent enough to outweigh what I was driving. Its uncomfortable and ugly, thats just the truth. One could argue, however, that this is also a good first car. It doesnt go too fast, its safe, and nobody distracting will ever want to ride along with you! Jokes aside, the Prius is a fairly good car, even though it looks different. My overall score- 68/100
vs2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S
2016 Toyota Prius winning categories:
Power Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"Although when you really put your foot down you can actually feel the 1.8L engine in the little Hybrid, the Manual transition in the Versa really gives it the edge. Some may complain about the engine noise, in my opinion it adds to this cars value as anyones first stick-shift vehicle."
Handling Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"Its all about the manual transition. Sure, the CVT in the Prius makes it easier to drive for those who may consider themselves more lazy, but switching over to manual gives you so much more control. Not only that, but the fact that your right hand is on the transmission means that it isnt occupied otherwise, be it texting, smoking or any other distractions you may fear for you first time car owner/driver."
Looks/Style Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"The Prius is extremely ugly. Although I think in a match-up against the Versa Note, theyd be about neck and neck, theres just no arguing here. The Versa is a nice looking sedan."
Front Seats Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"The Prius does have an armrest as well as automatic climate control in the base model, but in my eyes it just isnt the same without the stick."
Back Seats Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"They are about equal, but in the Versa the hump in the middle seat is definitely less predominant, partly due to the fact that there is no arm rest that deploys in that section of the car as opposed to the Prius."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S worse.
"The Prius is a hatchback. Enough said. I would like to note however that the Versa also lacks a center console with storage. I dont find it too difficult to store everything in the glove box, but it is something to note."
Family Car Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S worse.
"The Prius is a car anyone can drive. Although itd be nice if everyone in the world, especially in the USA, knew how to drive stick, it just isnt happening with the uprising of automatic and CVT transmissions. Aside from this, the extra storage allows for maybe a pet in the back seat, or a few extra kids."
Value Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"Perhaps in the long run youll save gas money driving the prius, the Versa is just so cheap! Not in a bad way of course. I pride myself in saying that my car is officially the cheapest car in America (even though it may be Japanese. Dont tell anybody that..)"
Would Buy Ranked 2016 Nissan Versa 1.6 S better.
"Although you may be Saving the planet with your hybrid, I dont see it worth the shame in driving the Prius. Its just so ugly! I also find that the seats in the Versa are a little more comfortable overall and that even though its not a hybrid I still see myself getting 30-35 mpg even in the city. I would definitely recommend the Versa to any young first time car owner."

2016 Toyota Prius Two ReviewCarGurus https://www.cargurus.com
Exceptional space, legroom, cargo, speed (surprised me), and the gas, fill up once every 500 miles, no comparison to Lexus 200ct hybrid. Long story short, we bought it! Such a smooth ride
vs2015 Lexus CT Hybrid 200h FWD
2016 Toyota Prius Two winning categories:
Power Ranked 2015 Lexus CT Hybrid 200h FWD worse.
"Both cars have power-mode but the Lexus feels as if the engine is dragging when you go into power-mode versus the Prius feels smooth and the speed is there without trying "
Back Seats Ranked 2015 Lexus CT Hybrid 200h FWD worse.
"No comparison, the Prius back seats are just all around comfortable. This is hard for me to say because I’d prefer the Lexus only if they could enlarge the comfortability. And this is coming from someone who is 5’8 & 150lbs and I sat in the back seat when I went for a test drive and just felt like a teenager crammed in car with friends. But if you’re a teen, I say go for it"
