2014 Toyota Prius Review
says:
This is about the most practical car a person can buy. Its like a Roth IRA, you just cant go wrong. Unless you are a single male. If you are do not buy this car. This car is definitely not sexy or cool, unless somebody is REALLY into mpg and the environment. Drives decent, tons of storage for a small car, incredible on gas mpg. Easy to get 55 mpg without even trying hard.

Overall:

Good Car If You Want A Mid-sized Hybrid Vehicle. — While there is road/wind noise on the freeway, it's not as pronounced in the liftback as it is in the prius c. The longer wheelbase and heavier weight also helps to subdue the bumps/vibrations on the road compared to the c. Lots of trunk space, and if you need more, the back seats fold down for extra room. There's plenty of room for passengers too, though three grown adults in the back may be cramped. Three kids should be fine however. Great fuel economy, you can easily get more than 50 mpg in this car unless you drive very fast, like 75 mph or more, or use it for very short trips that take less than 15 minutes..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great fuel economy, higher trim has some nice stuff in it as well such as the homelink mirror and JBL speaker system.

Cons: Car seems resistant when you want to turn, some road/wind noise on the freeway, eco mode is very sluggish when accelerating.

Overall:

Great Car — I was amazed while I first drove this car. It was an amazing experience. Nice gear, well stylish exterior design, 1 to 5 trim levels - all these are well set which I loved most. The Toyota Prius is a new generation car and the power capacity is quite good. Overall, it's a good value car to have.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Stylish, Great design, 5 Trim levels, Overall value is good

Cons: Expensive

I test-drove a 2014 Toyota Prius at Reinhardt Toyota in Montgomery, AL. It has navigation, back-up camera, XM Satellite radio, leather seats, etc. I decided to purchase it because I wanted a car with great gas mileage, and this fit the bill.
