Wonderful!! — This was my dream car and it is still is today! I am so glad I found the deal that I did and that I am able to drive this beauty!! I would highly recommend an Avalon to anyone who wants a great ride, great look, and great reliability. My next car Lord willing will be an Avalon as well!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Rides really smooth. The back seat has an amazing amount of room!!

Cons: The trunk space is not as large as some other cars. Not a deal breaker since we get more room in the back seat!!!

Luxury At A Value — The 2013 Avalon XLE Premium has very good gas mileage and only requires 87 octane gas. It is very luxurious inside and I receive many compliments about the exterior styling. The XLE premium has a smooth luxurious ride (I have not driven the Limited with 18 inch wheels). The car should be very reliable with low maintenance cost. The inside is quiet and the acceleration is great. The audio system sounds very good even without the navigation. There is plenty of room inside.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good gas mileage and you don't have to purchase the Hybrid model.  Great acceleration, roomy, luxurious interior, eye catching exterior, quiet. nice ride.

Cons: N/A

While It's A Great Looking Car, It's No Avalon Of Old — While it is a great looking car, Toyotas decision to cater to a younger crowd, has put those who have been buying this car for it's comfort and luxury are left out in the cold. This was a bad decision in mine and many others opinion. Many folks have noted the fact that the car is no longer a cruiser or very comfortable. These folks have tried many things to make the car comfortable, including lower the tire pressure? While this might be a temporary, it hardly seems like the kind of thing you'd like to do to a new car, and then there is the handling when changing tire pressure. Folks, take it for a good LONG test drive, and make sure you drive the roads you drive on daily. If you drive down a camp road or rough roads getting to camp during the summer, but test drive the car another time of year, then find a bumpy road, because you don't want to spend good hard earned money, and not love the car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks great, the wipers are nice and quiet, the Tech stuff is real nice (most of it any ways), the fit and trim is very nice as well

Cons: Road noise was very loud (low profile tires likely had a lot to do with this), Very Uncomfortable (compare to the early models), Truck opening is smaller, back seat is smaller, no reclining back seats, the front space surely seems a lot smaller. The seats are harder …
