Overall Great — My chevrolet equinox is a good overall value. It has a nice styling and appearance, plus it handles and drives great for the money. For a sub it gets anywhere from 25-30 mpg depending the time of year. The usefulness of the reAr sliding/folding back seat makes for good leg room for passengers and cargo when folded.I use it as an o ever the road salesman and can haul adequate supplies if I need to. I bought it new in November of 13 and sits time to trade vehicles as I usually trade at or around 75000 miles. I am considering another one. Very good value for the money.

Pros: Bought it as it is suppose to get 32mpg and I work over the road

Cons: Not getting what I Ned to get for mpg average about 25-26 for the 70+ miles I have put on

2013 Chevy Equinox Lt1 — Drove the Chevy Equinox, Ford Edge, and the Dodge Journey. Found all of them to be about the same interiorly. But the Equinox rode more comfortably, and had better handling characteristics than the competition. It has every available feature you could want, and has the pep to get up and down the road. We average 32 mpg on the highway and the back is roomy enough for 3 people. A very nice vehicle for the money.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Rides great. Handles very well. Comfortable

Cons: Nothing. Like it the way it is.

Very Pleased! — Excellent engine and dash layout, mileage better than expected. Cruises w/ very little effort at 80mph, can't say I've tried faster...yet. Very comfortable seats, back seat adjustabilty is sweet. Brakes very good. I have read that some folks feel the handling is numb, and I realize this is a personal preference, but I think GM got this about right. Nice styling, right size for small family or a couple. Love the nav and radio layout. Happy so far.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: V6 has very nice power band with good mileage.  Great engine.  Deceptively quick.  Getting about 26mph on interstate at 75mph.  Really wants to run!  Navigation layout is nice...the dash in general is visually nice and is easily learned...very intuitive.  Back seat is great; the fore/aft adjustment is a good idea.  Front seats are very comfortable; love the lumbar support and zone heating in seat.  Nicely designed exterior.

Cons: Not much.  Could maybe use a little better isolation from grainy road noise on poor pavement.  May be the tires.  I have the 19" factory rims.  Only have 1500 mies so can't comment on reliability but initial build quality was excellent based on previous personal experience with Chrysler, GM and Toyota.

A Good Car For The Money, Higher Ground Clearance For Rocky Driveways. — The acceleration was good, didn't expect that in the four cylinder. Handles as quiet as many cars in much higher price range, much quieter than others. Brakes good. I haven't had any problems. I feel very safe driving it. A good buy.

Pros: I looked for cars for over a year before buying this one.  I like it so much, I am selling mine and may get an LTZ.  This handles much better and feels like it has much more quality than the Honda CRV and Toyota Rav 4.  I get over 34 highway, and 26-27 on hilly curvy roads.  Great in the rain and looks stylish.

Cons: Blind spot - left driver's side.  Have to use blind mirrors and back up camera.
