A Great Car... For The Right Person — I've driven this car for a little while and although impressed with its potential, I came away understanding this was not the car for me. I do respect it. In the right hands, this car can do amazing things. It is as reliable as the sun rising each day, has enough gizmos to keep my techno mind occupied and is comfortable. I enjoy a bit more feedback from a car, a bit more soul. I was expecting the idiosyncrasies of the car to give it chutzpa, like my Jetta TDI, but it was not the case. I can't fault the car for what it is trying to be; a simple point A to point B mode of transportation, but I want some adventure, something to let me know I'm living. Alas, it was like a person you meet and although they are great, you just find you have nothing in common with them. But hey, that's just me. If I had to break up with the car, I'd say, "It's not you, it's me."

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Excellent Fuel Economy
    Excellent Reliability
    Great Visibility
    Fantastic Technology

Cons: Not enough power, kind of sluggish off the line if in ECO mode
The styling is not for me

Ghassan1 — Toyota Prius is an economy car, the engine is strong and you rely on it, the screen tells you every thing, so you know what is the problem prior going to mechanic, it is very friendly and very good for for environment, however you will be stuck if any problem arises

    Pros: Economy car

Cons: All is electric nothing to do when malfunction

Great Little Car. — Car has every feature that a Mercedes has but uses regular fuel and gets 45 to 50 miles per gallon. I especially like the navigation system, backup camera and HUD display. Great commuter car and fun to drive on the weekends!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 50 mpg! Cool HUD display. Solar roof keeps car cool when not running.

Cons: If you are a truck  or SUV person you won't like the small size.

Great Car That I'll Keep And Replace With A New Prius Again — This is my 2nd Prius (first one was 2006 2nd generation) and I love my previous so when it is time to sell my 2002 Porsche 911, I bought a brand new 2012 Prius. No regrets. Even better than the 2006 version. With more power especially in Power mode. No complaints and will keep it as long as I could.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good handling; great gas mileage; great cargo space; comfortable seats and pretty nice interior.  Solid reliable car.

Cons: Lack of torque. If it has a full electric motor will be perfect.

Great Mileage And Fun For The Short Trips. — I would recommend this for a small family. We are empty nesters and this car works for most of our needs. With the back seats down - it holds much more than I ever thought possible. Low repair bills and great mileage.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handles great for the size of the car. I love going to the gas station- but it is rare.

Cons: Front seats are not comfortable - especially on a trip longer than 2 hours. I wish they put another dollar or two in padding

The King Of Hybrids — MPGs are better than sticker shows, it's a conversation piece at gas stations and Toyota is all around a great company. I recommend the level 5 Prius. What you'll lack in speed, you make up for in luxuries like leather, Xenons, premium sound and bigger rims to help with appearance.

Pros: Fuel economy, features, technology, great sound system, Xenon lights, good image

Cons: Noisy at high speeds, navigation is hard to use

The Prius Everyone Would Want To Own. — Not as quick as a Prius with 15" wheels but ample power to accelerate onto highways. Zero rattles. Stellar appearance. Cost of ownership is very low. The car handles incredible. Excellent and super fun to drive on twisty roads. Not a race car but enough acceleration to have fun yet get around 50 mpg.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Everything is awesome on this car.

Cons: Nothing, it is an amazing car to own.

My New Blizzard Pearl Prius — Awesome handling, quiet ride, 50+ mpg, stellar looks, doesn't kill your wallet at the pump. Build quality is first rate. Why can't US manufacturers build cars like the imports do? The Prius with the Plus Performance package is an incredible car to drive. It handles like it is on rails yet will get well over 50 mpg. What more could a person say? If you can afford to buy one, do it. It will be in your family for many years to come and pay for itself many times in that period. Today's performance is not about running 105 octane trick gas and getting less than 10 mpg while collecting tickets. It's about spending as little on gas as you can so you are not funding those crazy oil producing countries so much.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Incredible mpg while handling like a sports car.

Cons: I don't get to stop at the gas station to buy donuts every 3 days like I do with my SUV.

Great New Prius V Model — Good family car with a ton of space… We're averaging about 44 mpg… We picked the car up for about 2K under MSRP… I'm 6'1 tall and it's a lot more room than our old Prius… Mileage in town is outstanding.

    Pros: excellent city mpg

Cons: highway mpg was a little low

I Love This Car! Hoping To Buy A New Ediiton — I love to reliability, quietness, fuel efficiency, large capacity of this prius. It handles very well and you can barely tell when it is turned on. it is chalk full of technology that makes by experience even better. The seats fold down for ample storage room.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel efficiency, cargo space, updates, sustainability, size, solar/moon roof, technology. Also only need an oil chanfe every 10K miles

Cons: I cannot think of any cons. I wish the standard edition came with the moonroof package
