2010 Cadillac DTS Platinum FWDReview
One Of The Best Highway Cruisers Out There. — Overall I really like this car. The ride is very comfy, the sound system is very good and I really like the interior of the Platinum far more than the other models. The interior for me was the main reason I bought the car. To me if you can live without the status of the BMW, Mercedes, etc then save yourself the 20k+++ and get the Cadi. I have had my share of trips to the dealer for different issues but they were all taken care of under warranty without an issue. I did not have as good an experience with some of the euro sedans and as a result didn't go back.
Pros: Very comfortable ride and easy to drive. The interior of the "Platinum" makes it the only "DTS" to get in my opinion.
Cons: Front wheel drive for me is a drawback. Changing any of the front lights requires a visit to the dealer and I have a feeling so do all the others.

2010 Cadillac DTS FWDReview
A Cloud On Wheels — This is my 5th Cadillac and by far the best one. They keep getting better every time. The seats are like butter, quite as a library and an engine with lots of get up and go and brakes that will stop on a dime.
Primary Use: Commuting to work
Pros: Rides excellent
Cons: No cons at all
2010 Cadillac DTS Luxury FWD ReviewCarGurus https://www.cargurus.com
I just bought a 2010 Cadillac DTS Luxury. I had test driven the Avalon. The Avalon has comparable power, and handles better, but it is cramped inside for my body type. The DTS is comfortable, very well appointed, handles well for its size, and is a very handsome vehicle.
vs2010 Toyota Avalon Limited
2010 Cadillac DTS Luxury FWD winning categories:
Power Ranked 2010 Toyota Avalon Limited worse.
"They are very similar in power, with 275 HP from the DTS and 263 from the Avalon. Given my preference for the DTS, I simply ranked it higher. It definitely has power, but so does the Avalon. 0-60 is a stupid measure - what counts is 45-80, or 35-70... freeway merging. Both cars handle those demands well."
Back Seats Ranked 2010 Toyota Avalon Limited worse.
"BIgger! Easier in and out! The DTS simply has more room."

Space, Safety And Comfort Abound.
This full sized vehicle excells at carrying people and all their luggage in serene comfort. Handling is clumsy/floaty, but DTS is about isolation and convenience, not engagement. Perfect for long trip... Read More
