Ford & Dealer Seem Reluctant To Track Down This Annoooying Noise — This vehicle has an intermittent howl that seems to come from the rear. Brakes tested OK. About every 2-3 weeks the howl begins for a few days then goes away. I have run into another ST owner who reports the same problem. Anyone else out there with the same issue?

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: work vehicle

Cons: My 2008 has the same howl

Recession Suv Quality — Considering we are in a recession. This SUV covers all needs of a growing family, yet still low in price and high in quality. Use it as a family vehicle for trip to see family, use it to haul wood for fire, or to pull your boat to go fishing with. The ride is comfortable, and very sturdy, with plenty of room and comfort

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This SUV has room and comfort. Trips are comfortable, or use it as a PU truck with the bed extender, you have 8 ft..

Cons: Intead of 6cyl. Go an 8 cyl because the difference in MPG is less than 5.

Awsome — My Sport Trac is a 2009 Adrenalin V8. I think of it as a mustang with a box, all wheel drive, and 20in rims. I LOVE IT! I can't wait until winter so I can see how it performs on snow and ice, I live in northern Alberta so it should be fun.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The color, the power, the heated seats, everything!

Cons: ask me in a year, but until then...  I can't think of anything!

A Strong 4x4 With Practical Suv Qualities. — The bee's knees in Sport Utility, folks. When I get in this truck, it fits like a glove. I've never had more fun driving a vehicle. As an added bonus, it is easy on the wallet when it comes to fuel economy. Sure as hell better than the 2nd morgage I would've needed if we kept the Avalanche.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: One thing I've never had is a voice activated USB port that allows me to plug and play my GB's of music with my flash drive. The Sync feature is pretty awesome as well. Bring you cell with you when you drive and Sync takes care of the rest.

Cons: That I did not buy it sooner.

The Nissan product serves utility, but does not compare in power, handling, fit & finish.

"Power, design, handling, all superior in Sport Trac. Nissan is very much a small truck; Sport Trac is more SUV with much soother ride. "
