Potentially long-lived if used gently. Good visibility.

Good Reliable Hybrid, Easy To Drive — With additional sound deadening installed, the hybrid limited was pleasureable and relatively quiet to drive. It did not have a powerful engine but that is the compromise if you want good mpg. It had sufficient power for most round town and highway driving. The rear seats can be laid down and/or the passenger seat can be laid down for greater storage. This is a FWD model to bolster mpg and no control problems were encountered in wet weather or snow. For snow driving where Chains were required, there were no issues attaching chains or driving with them.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Mileage always 31+, snappy driving response, good interior storage as seats can be laid down, easy to drive

Cons: Ford interior; nice leather seat but other surfaces are middle of the road for luxury; was noisey until additional interior sound deading was installed

Very Good — Its a very nice car, and reliable. I would recommend it if you're looking for a hybrid SUV. It doesn't have the "collectors" appeal (like a Jeep Wrangler say) but for a commuter car its very good. The newer models design are not as nice in my opinion.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice design, spacious, reliable, economical

Cons: More power would be nice, and four wheel drive (although that would probably reduce the mpg)
