This model year and model itself, LT1, is just fine. Obviously its not an LTZ. The features that are included in the 09 Traverse are pretty good. this vehicle had an aftermarket touch screen installed so I do not know what the original sound system was like. I cant tell you that Im not happy with the aftermarket touch screen because it is pretty cheap and not as large as it can be to fill the area. But other than that the features are pretty nice in this vehicle.

Comfortable Ride, Pick A Different Year — Very nice looking with great comfort and easy controls. OnStar vehicle diagnostics are awesome and the seats in the third row are able to seat adults comfortably. Lots of storage room even when using third row which is not always the case as seen with my sister's mountaineer. Rearview camera and sensors are a must! All vehicles large or small should include them! The issues with AC are a negative as well as the electrical problems. This year (2009) is not a recommended one for reliability--wish I had found that BEFORE purchasing...Overall a great vehicle, just pick a better year!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very smooth and comfortable ride for both myself at 5'5" and my husband at 6'5"

Cons: 2009 was a bad year for this vehicle. AC problems and injector issues as well as general electrical with windows etc.

It's Ok — I love the room for my kids but hate that the dealership wasn't honest about all the issues that have arisen since I signed the paperwork. I was also hoping to get the amount of gas mileage normally associated with this car.

Pros: Has lots of room, love the idea of this car but it became a nightmare because of the dealership it was bought from.

Cons: Must be cautious of the mass air flow sensors and catalytic converters going bad because it really takes away the good gas mileage this car is supposed to get.

Very Solid Family Daily Driver — god solid vehicle. Very well laid out and easy to drive. Plenty of leg room for rear seat passengers. Decent gas milage for what it is and how we use this vehicle. Handles well in the snow. Had power steering fluid changed because of contamination, not really sure how that happened.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great for the family to get where we need to go

Cons: Very few choices for tires
