Great Family Car, Fun And Practical To Drive — The only dislike I have, the seats are very stiff, and Im tall, so i wish the power seat lowered further. but it does sit in a command position, in case you prefer to feal like your sitting higher. the transmission shifts smooth, the power matched with the 3.8 is really nice!!! very good fuel economy for a peppy v6.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power and shifting are very smooth. seats sit in a command position. lines flow nicely

Cons: seats are stiff. auto heat controls are confusing

Fair To Good Preformance. This Car Will Out Run Most On The Road! No Tickets Yet. — All in all it gets me to work everyday. It came with about 14k left on the factory warranty and a dealer service plan for 6 free oil changes. I did purchase a 7 / 70 power train warranty included in the price at closing. I just put new tires on it to help with the gas mileage of 18/24. This replaced my Jeep GCL 2001 L4 that was fading fast at 165,000 miles

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This model came with a 3.8 version 4 v 6 L26 engine. The mainstay of the Oldsmobile line for many years. It seems this was the last year offered for that engine and it has been dropped in favor of the 4 cylinder models

Cons: This was a certified vehicle purchase and after I drove it off the lot three major repairs had to be done:
1. The passenger seat air bag sensor was a recall that had not been preformed.
2. The power steering system was completely swapped out for one that did not leak. Steering Rac, pump and associated hoses.
3. The 'castor' setup on the rear wheels was 3 degrees negative. This prevented a full 4 wheel alignment from being completed. This seems to be an assembly error not reported to GM and it was repaired by my dealer for a modest 125.00. My dealer paid the other 125.00.
If I knew of these problems thru either a consumer report or a CArFax report I would have NOT purchased this car
